My stay at York International Hotel was very disappointing. The room lock was broken and took almost an hour to fix temporarily. The telephone wire was chewed and not working. The washroom was dirty and smelled bad. I had confirmed a 2 PM late checkout during booking, but in the morning, the receptionist rudely said he didn’t know about it and asked me to leave by 12 PM. When I reminded him, he demanded extra money just to stay one more hour and told me to leave immediately without even freshening up. Very poor service and extremely rude staff

I found this location by make my trip. my experience was terrible.I don't recommend this hotel for the families. The staff also not customer friendly. room is old but it's ok since it's price and location we need to consider. don't expect the staff treat you with respect like any other hotel . normally in dubai I will expect good experience from hotels

Hidden Parking Charges:** - Parking fees were not mentioned separately during booking - Was charged approximately 50% of the room rate for one night's parking, which is excessive and should have been disclosed upfront 3 Bathroom Hygiene Issues:** - Washroom was not properly cleaned before check-in - Basic cleanliness standards were not met 4 Safety Hazard - Plumbing Problems:** - Significant shower leakage caused water to accumulate on the bathroom floor - This created a serious slipping hazard, especially dangerous for elderly guests or children - Issue was not resolved promptly despite being reported 5 unprofessional Phone Etiquette:** - Staff members handling phone calls were not properly trained - Lacked basic courtesy and professional communication skills - Did not demonstrate appropriate customer service standards 6 Inadequate Bathroom Amenities:** - Only provided 2 towels with no floor mat - Insufficient for basic comfort and safety needs 7. No Hot Water for Drinking:** - Hot drinking water facility was not available during my stay - This is a basic amenity that guests expect for tea, coffee, and general consumption

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and just checked out today. Despite reading some negative reviews earlier, my personal experience was completely different — truly pleasant and satisfying. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. Everything I needed was provided, and the environment was peaceful and relaxing. I would especially like to appreciate the staff — they were polite, helpful, and always professional. From the front desk to housekeeping, everyone made sure I felt welcomed and comfortable. Their positive attitude made a big difference. Thank you for the great hospitality. I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to others based on my own experience.

I have booked York international dubai I have very bad experience because I have booked hotel for 2 person and they allow only 1 person and they take extra money for another person 100 AED THEY TAKE EXTRA

Ac was not working most of the time no hygiene. Hotels in india have better service then this. Didn’t expect this to happen in UAE. Someone has to take action against this hotel

The location is great, however the hotel itself is not maintained properly. While booking the details showed that TV is available with cable as one of the basic amenities , however there was no remote in the room. Upon requesting for the remote Reception forgot to send it for 45mins and after a follow up call they sent engineering who then explained how the TV doesn't work as there is no cable available. The bathroom drainage was selaed resulting in a mini flood while showering and thankfully i opened the drainage after breaking my nails, the shower and tap adjust is broken, it came off when tried to switch from tap to shower. The WC seat is broken and the water pressure is extremely low resulting in more water wastage to flush out the WC. Requesting for more water i was informed that it will be on chargeable basis. Overall the hospitality is missing and basic eye for detail should be there in order to provide satisfactory stays for guests.

I have booked this hotel in advance received messages from make my trip booking has been confirmed and payment was successfully done. And later received message from make my trip booking has been canceled and we checked with hotel they said there is no such booking. It’s been one month there is no response from hotel and make my trip for my refund. Super Disappointed ☹️
