I recently stayed at meydan and was quite impressed with the luxury and the services they offered. Location: the hotel is away from the crowd and i had a peaceful stay accessibility: you have to book a cab or use your own vehicle to reach here. No public transport is available close to the hotel. Service: the staffs were friendly and supportive. Staffs at the reception were too good. They ensured that i had a pleasant experience and supported me with my requests efficiently. There were exceptions. Rooms: the room was luxurious and spacious. It had an amazing balcony with a beautiful view of meydan racecourse. Rooms were very-well maintained, food: the quality of the food they served for breakfast was good and delicious. There were lots of options. Facilities: they have two pools which are okayish. I have experienced better pools in 4-star hotels even. One of them is kids pool. I had two extreme experiences from two life guards. On one day, the lifeguard at the pool guy was good. He helped us with towels and umbrella. And behaved in a friendly manner. The other day, there was another lifeguard who sounded too rude and did not allow our kid to use the adult pool with a tube. I do agree that adults pools are not for kids. He was 4. 5 years old and there was tube but he did not care. Our kid was crying and he did not care, he even didnt help with towel or umbrella when our kid were at the sun. Never expected this from a 5 star hotel. Gym is also available. Lockers are also present. You can use golf course and tennis court at additional charges, downside: i expected bigger pools for a hotel of 5 star rating. Overall, my family had a nice experience.
