I was really pleasantly surprised by how nice this hotel was. The staff at the reception were very friendly and offered and upgrade for me without asking - the room was extremely clean and the layout was really great the large tvs in the lounge and the bedroom and a good size kitchen with all the amenities was very helpful, the location just a few steps from the metro station financial centre was obviously a great plus! All in all - a very good property and great staff!

Terrible Stay

this reservation led to a medical emergency and subsequent threats. MMT must address this urgently. This was a life-threatening experience. We were placed in a room that was an active safety hazard where toxic fumes/gas leaked from the AC and spotlights. Within 20 minutes, my husband passed out for seven hours, developing a severe systemic infection and high fever due to the exposure. The issues did not end there. The hotel committed by charging unauthorized fees (deposit, tourist tax) and then engaged in blatant extortion after check-out. The manager called repeatedly, making a false accusation and explicitly threatening to report my husband and ban him from future travel unless we paid over AED 1000. MMT must take immediate responsibility for partnering with a property that endangers customer health, violates privacy, and employs threats. I require an IMMEDIATE call back from a senior MMT representative or Marriott themselves , a full refund of all extra charges, and a written assurance that the hotel’s threats and false reports against my husband or myself for this atrocity will be nullified. This is a severe health matter, and MMT is liable for the booking.

the rooms are large with a small kitchen area, however, the bathroom is tiny. we had three rooms and situation was not too much different in any of the rooms. the food is average, they try to serve one Indian food item in breakfast but it's not tasty. during our stay elevators were not working properly or couldn't take the load of too many guests, people were stuck at the reception, resturant level 43 for a very long time. At best a decent hotel of Marriott wherein you will get a preference only when you book via Marriott directly rather than such booking agents.
