Dear MakeMyTrip Support Team, I am writing to raise a complaint regarding my recent booking in Hulhumalé, Maldives. The experience was completely different from what was promised on the MakeMyTrip platform. The major issues faced are: 1. Room Misrepresentation: The photos displayed on MakeMyTrip do not match the actual room provided. 2. Missing Amenities: No toiletries, no telephone, and insufficient drinking water were provided. Only after showing the booking details did the staff provide water, despite initially denying it. 3. Lift Construction Work: A lift project is ongoing directly in front of our room, creating continuous noise from morning onwards. It is also unsafe, as the work is being carried out without any safety precautions. 4. Poor Hospitality: The staff were not hospitable. There was no welcome drink provided, and only after repeated requests did they provide basic drinking water. 5. Breakfast Quality: The complimentary breakfast was extremely poor, consisting of only bread, a plain omelette, and tea — far below what was advertised and expected. This clearly amounts to false advertising, deficiency of service, and unsafe conditions. Such an experience is unacceptable, especially when the booking was made through a reputed platform like MakeMyTrip. In view of the above, I request MakeMyTrip to kindly intervene and process at least a 50% refund of the booking amount as compensation for the inconvenience and substandard service provided. I am attaching supporting photos/videos for your review. I request your urgent action in this matter. Thank you for your assistance.

When we arrived they told us that the hotel was full and they accommodated us in another building close to the hotel with only 2 single beds and the cleaning wasn’t good. I’ve booked a deluxe room with ocean view but instead i’ve got a very small and bad apartment. Terrible experience.

Hotel is located at 50 meters from the beach, the rooms are small and cozy however the staff is not at all co-operative. They just try to find out ways to not work. they simply deny the duties or requests there breakfast time is 8 to 9.30. I stayed there for 4 days on my last day they denied me breakfast since I went to them at 9.30 dot and they said it has to be before 9.30. They will clean the room or change towel only once in 2 days and stuff like that . So if u just want a room please go for this one as it is have all basic amenities and at a very strategic location but do not expect any kind of services from Hotel staff.

Not Worth it at all. Very poor

Very small rooms. We had an extra bed in our room which was just pathetic and moving around, no one could sleep on it. Then my dad asked the person to serve tea, he said time is up. Pathetic attitude. They ripped us off, taking a huge amount for a city tour, whereas a single journey takes a minimal amount. There was no hot water, they gave an excuse saying the solar panel isn't working and didn't even make an effort to arrange from somewhere. I would not recommend anyone, even on a tight budget, to go to this hotel. P.S. Very poor wifi, couldn't get a decent signal for 5 mins.

The place is 6 kms from Male Airport. One can take a taxi or an airport bus. Taxi costs US$ 10. It's right in the middle of commercial hub. Next to beach and a fantastic India restaurant - Bombay Darbar.
