This is an excellent place for budget stay in Kathmandu, the only issue I experienced was driving through the bylanes to reach the place. However if you are not self-driving, not much fault can be found. The lights in the room are dim which may not be a liking to all, also they have no fans but provide table fans on request - this is completely acceptable in a place like Kathmandu. The property in itself is beautiful and gives a pristine relaxing feeling.

Kantipur Temple House is located in the heart of Kathmandu- Thamel. All major attractions, restaurants, pubs, shopping and the airport are easily accessible, most on foot. The Kantipur Temple House is unfriendly and very beautifully done up. The heritage building is calm and serene and the rooms warm and welcoming and extremely clean. Would definitely recommend you stay here to make the most of your time in Kathmandu!

We searched for a heritage Kantipur Temple House and kantipur came as a suggestion. Location of this Kantipur Temple House is excatly mid of atahamel which is a perfect place to stay. All the renewed cafes and shopping places are a minute away. Good place to stay. Food is also very good. All the staffs were polite and supportive.

Enjoyed the architectural beauty of the Kantipur Temple House structure, rooms and its surroundings, hospitality of the staffs, food preparation and presentation. It was very very peaceful stay at heart of thamel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Since this Kantipur Temple House adopted ecofriendly policy so there was no fan or acs. Highly recommended for people who likes peaceful stay.

The staff, Kantipur Temple House and the food is good. I felt like am staying in a small mahal, fully decorated in a old fashioned darbar in nepal. Food is nice, not too many items in the menu both in breakfast and dinner. But the stay is excellent. Eco friendly Kantipur Temple House and the staff
