Last renovated in 2013, the resort has 91 villas set across the beach and lagoon (overwater) .

For dining, the property offers a choice of 4 eateries. Enjoy room service, halal food and a choice of American, Asian and Continental breakfast.Guests can also opt for in-villa champagne breakfasts. There are several special experiences for sundowners and dinners available.

Location & Surroundings

The property offers seaplane transfers from Male International Airport. It is a 25-minute seaplane ride, and costs USD 340 per adult and USD 170 per child.The cost is for roundtrip/return transfer and inclusive of taxes. The transfers are available from 0600 hours and until 1500 hours. Transfers are mandatory and guests have to share details of arrival and departure flights at least 72 hours prior to arrival.Payment has to be done directly at the property. The property will arrange for the transfer and share details such as pick-up point, kiosk at the airport etc.

Veligandu Island Resort & Spa is located on Veligandu island, an island that is just 600 m long and 150 m wide.A part of North Ari Atoll, this small island packs within itself a punch of experiences - clean, white sandy beaches, a lagoon with crystal clear turquoise waters, and a lushly-vegetated inland.
