Uraraka is located just few steps from Nijo Castle and offers easy access to bus network (few bus stops within short walk from guesthouse). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic but comfy enough for short stay. Rather very tinky and small bathroom. Free Wi-Fi. Basic breakfast (coffee, tea, difrents type of bread) included in the rate.

Reached Kyoto in the night and had to leave the next morning to Hamamatsu. So me and my friend needed a place to crash in for the night. Everything was smooth and easy. The key was there at the reception desk (since receptionists aren't available from 11 PM to 5 AM). Free Wi-Fi - nice! Free breakfast - breads and a drink. The breads were delicious. Had enough to fill my tummy until the next meal. Only problem - the bathroom is very small. But I didn't mind because I stayed there only for a night.
