A good place to stay near the paddington station.

The Park Grand London - Hyde Park is a good option to stay in london and with paddington station just a 3 minute walk away you have the convenience of travel by train and bus. There are quite a few eating joints in the vicinity too. The room sizes are small but that how most Park Grand London - Hyde Parks are here, the staff at the reception is very friendly too. Everything is self service so be prepared for the same, do not opt for the basement rooms as heating does makes the rooms a bit stuffy. We had to open the windows slightly, overall a pleasant experience we stayed for 8 nights here.

Pleasant stay. There are a lot many Park Grands around so one needs to be attentive. Landed up at Park Grand Paddington which is just a few minutes away. Good central location. We did not try the food so cannot comment. Friendly bell boy but mixed emotions about the reception staff.
