It was one of the best hotels. I have ever been in. And I have been to Marriot , Novotel , Hyatt, and Ramada . I really liked Marmara. There was a variety of things to do to pass your time like table tennis the huge pool game hamam computer browse. It was awesome and if you are a tourist the best . All the tours and all were very close by . The person at the reception was very sweet. The service was faster than a Ducati Veron! Teslime was really sweet and hardworking she should be the head of housekeeping. The building structure was nice too. My room was on the 16th-floor and my room was room 1607. If you are thinking of any other resort, DON’T question it, book Marmara.

Excellent Hotel Large Rooms with excellent seaview

Stayed at Marmara Antalya for 2 nights last week (Nov 6-8, 2017). While from the entrance (on 7th level) the hotel looks ordinary, as you step in, the grandeur shows up. 1 level down is the grandest dining area which opens out into the full fledged swimming pool and an aquarium. The hotel has a very large gym and fitness centre, as well as a Hammam free for guests and massage spa. A level down is a conference hall. The uniqueness of this hotel is that there is a lift near the aquarium that takes you 6 levels down, opening into a tunnel .. That opens onto the waterfront. The hotel stands on a cliff. The water front has sitting area as well as ladders to get down into the crystal clear waters. Huge rocks neatly carved by nature give a mystic feeling as you see the Antalya cityline across the rocky bay. Rooms are very large. We had a seaview facing rooms (Go for it! ). The bathrooms huge too, with 2 washbasins! However the room air conditioning was poor and so was the service as despite me complaining 3 times, the system was not cooling the room and we spent the 1st night sweating in the room! The 2nd evening though, the AC was set in order by the technician, not after my 4th complaint. Apparently, the hotel had central air conditioning set to "heater" mode. While the corridors and lobbies were comfortably cool, the room was unusually hot. The temperature control in the room is merely a fan button! Food spread was large too. However, options were limited for us Indians. Please note, in Turkey, they use limited amounts of common salt in food. Do insist on the same for over counter dishes like egg omelettes. Staff was cordial. Room rates were excellent as we booked through makemytrip. Com we got buy 1 night get 1 night free!
