Location and maintenance of resort par excellence. Breakfast was awesome with lots of variety. It was delicious too. Room was small but neat and clean. Staff was courteous. It was overall a nice experience.

We stayed in the small room... some might find it a little tight.. but it was okay for us. . Only downer is that there was a little musty or damp smell in our room. Just a little whenever we entered. Other than that it was great.

The property is good with all the amenities. However their hospitality is seriously poor. We booked a nil e view deluxe king room. Their staff starts disturbance in the morning from 7-7:30 am and its too noisy that you cant sleep or even talk to anyone. You can also hear the people passing the corridor and that too is so much noisy. When we asked for a change of room, it was said that they cant check the system now and it will be checked later and only based on availability only they can allot other room which never happened during our entire stay. Not recommended if you want peaceful stay

Pathetic stay experience at steigenberger resort achti luxor. We booked the room with breakfast, but there was nothing to eat for vegetarians. None of the staff was cooperative. You can assume the service when you have to wait for 30 minutes just for a water bottle, and that too after several follow-ups. None of the toiletries were provided, and you have to call for everything, which will be delivered at their own pace. Highly disappointed and will never recommend this to anyone.

The hotel is dated but it was very clean and they were upgrading the hotel when I stayed there. Breakfast was good, there is a convenience store right outside the hotel gate, if you walk down 5 minutes there is a nice Chinese restaurant, egyptian restaurant and KFC. It is at one end of Town but the Town is not very big.

One of the best stay of our Egypt tour. Right on serene Nile makes it a great place to stay. Also offers a pool few metres from Nile shore, while the other pool is at centre of resort . It also offers variety of restaurants Italian, Indian for diverse culinary experience . Would recommend . They should better manage the associated taxi drivers as they seldom honor's tariff published by hotel. This was little surprising to us. Rest everything was perfect

Great hotel with close proximity to everything. The best thing was the Karnak restaurant. Very close to East Bank heritage sites like Luxor temple and Karnak temple and market is also close by. Situated on the banks of Nile River and has a nice view of Nile and all lit up temples from its terrace. Overall a wonderful and comfortable stay.
