Staying at Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was truly one of the highlights of my trip to Nepal. Tucked away in a peaceful alley yet just steps away from the vibrant streets of Thamel and major attractions like Kathmandu Durbar Square, this hostel offers the perfect blend of calm, comfort, and convenience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, who were not only professional but genuinely kind and helpful throughout my stay. The check-in process was smooth, and they offered great local recommendations that made my Kathmandu experience even more memorable. The rooms were impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and surprisingly spacious. The boutique decor — a blend of traditional Nepali charm and modern minimalism — gave the entire place a cozy, inviting vibe. I especially loved the little design touches that made it feel like a home away from home. The common areas are perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. The rooftop terrace was a personal favorite — a peaceful place to enjoy morning tea or watch the sunset with views over the old city. The Wi-Fi was strong, the beds were very comfortable, and the hot showers were consistent (a big bonus in Nepal!). Above all, it’s the hospitality that sets Kwabahal apart. Whether you’re a solo traveler, a digital nomad, or a group of friends, this place makes you feel safe, cared for, and connected. Excellent garden escape

I had a lovely room. I appreciated the nice fluffy large towel and clean sheets. Great dining/seating area on the ground floor to chill out after walking through the thamel area in kathmandu. Pramod was very helpful in planning a hike.
