Our stay at Taj Samudra Colombo was exceptional from start to finish. The property is stunning, with a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and elegance. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and offered beautiful views. Service was truly outstanding — warm, attentive, and efficient, making us feel well cared for throughout. The dining experience was excellent with a wide range of options and consistently high quality. Every detail, from the ambience to the hospitality, made the stay memorable. Truly a five-star experience worth recommending.

The stay was excellent. The ocean view room gave us a grand look throughout the day. That itself gave us the relaxation that we went in search of. Located very strategically close to Galle Face, the ocean and a vibrant mall, this Taj Samudra, Colombo is very convenient to travel to and from. The very courteous staff and the great facilities only add to the comfort level. We only tried the buffet restaurant for breakfast, and the wide variety of food, including Indian options, was awesome! We would look forward to visiting again.

Excellent stay for 3 nights here with wifey and son. Right on the beach. Warm hospitality shown by each and every team member. Special mention of Roshan who managed our seafood dinner at the “Shack”. He made sure that we have the best dining experience! As also Malawaua from housekeeping! We couldn’t enjoy their Spa, but they have a great setup. It’s like small gated village, by the ocean, filled with warmth and generous hospitality! Hats off!!

We had a lovely stay at Taj Samudra, Colombo. Property is right at the center just 500m away from biggest mall in Colombo and just next to beach. Being an Indian vegetarian I couldn’t have asked for a better food arrangement. All the dishes were delicious. The staff was v courteous and prompt. They also took care of preparing baby food and served to our room at no extra cost.
