We checked in late and were initially allotted a room on the 5th floor. While walking to the room, we noticed a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor. We hoped the smell wouldn’t be inside the room, but to our surprise, the room itself was filled with smoke odor even after half an hour of ventilation. When we requested a room change, the male receptionist was extremely arrogant, reckless, and showed a lot of attitude. Only after a 15-minute argument did he unwillingly agree to change our room, and we were shifted to the 2nd floor. That room was slightly better, but still not good, as the entire hotel smelled of smoke.
The rooms are spacious and reasonably clean, but there is no proper ventilation, and the behavior of the male receptionist was the worst I’ve experienced. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel.
