Location was good, rooms were neat and it’s a natural Thai themed hotel with many pools. Great for a family stay. Breakfast was lavish and tasty.

all the staff was very polite. the area around the hotel was lively and had great places to enjoy drinks and food. the hotel breakfast could definitely do with improvements. they switched off the fans at exactly 1030 am. The eooms were good. the resort has three pools so that's a plus. the only downside is to travel to old rown or patong its a 40 min drive. but kata as a location is not bad at all

Unfortunately, in our case, it’s still unclear whether the error was on the hotel’s side or MMT’s—but we were the ones left dealing with the consequences. We had carefully selected the hotel based on specific needs, only to be shocked upon arrival to find that the booking had been cancelled, even though the app still showed it as confirmed. The entire experience put a damper on our trip. As a Black member, I expected better service, but after this, I’ll definitely think twice before booking with MMT again. After a long day, I had to move to a new hotel, which turned out to be more of a homestay and didn’t meet my requirements at all. To make things worse, MMT’s support number wasn’t reachable from the country I was in, and I had to rely on my sister to contact them in the morning. So even reaching customer care was a frustrating challenge in itself.

Rooms were nice, only thing is they have same food daily. Might have change their menu. Swimming pool was good. Other than reception staff nobody know english.

Located right next to the beach. Kata beach is 15-30 mins from chalong pier, tiger park, big bhudda (which you can see from the resort. 1 hour from airport - which is also fine. Good breakfast spread. 3 amazing pools which everyone will love. Good service and support from staff. If you take a room in the new building you will have to walk a bit, but not a problem

Recently stayed at a hotel near Kata Beach, which is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from the beach. The hotel has a decent appeal, though it shows signs of wear with old tables and chairs, hinting at a need for some refurbishment. One of the highlights is the pool, which is quite nice, although the pool floor felt rough underfoot. Upon check-in, the hotel requires a security deposit which can be a bit steep depending on the currency you use The service quality was okay, but I noticed a discrepancy in how staff interacted with guests of different backgrounds. Staff seemed particularly courteous and respectful towards white guests, whereas the treatment towards Indian guests, including myself, appeared less warm. Despite these issues, the proximity to Kata Beach and the courteous staff (albeit with some reservations on equality) make it a consideration for travelers who prioritize location and a good pool over the latest room furnishings.

The hotel was very good, neat and clean, courteous staff, excellent location near all shops and beach.

Its a good place to stay in calm environment the room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast was excellent and incredibly varied. The hotel team has always been friendly, patient and helpful. That impressed me the most.

Nice hotel walking distance from the Beach

Walk able distance to Kata beach. Beautiful landscape and green spread. The pools are spread across the resort. But you need to be lucky to get the ground floor rooms adjacent to the pool. We missed it. Ethnic touch to the rooms makes them elegant. Mosquitoes are a spoiler. Number of seafood joints around the resort as well as massage centers.

We first booked through MakeMyTrip. The receptionist said that booking was canceled by hotel and they informed MakeMyTrip. We argued for 2 hours with front desk staff with no luck. I think the hotel cheated us how could they reject the confirmed booking. Finally we made another booking through company in front of them. Though the hotel was good, the main front desk receptionist behavior irritated us.

It was a nice and comfortable stay at Kata Palm. It s walking distance to the beach and near by market. Hotel is having all facilities, pool area was good. The breakfast was also good and serve veg dish also. Overall nyce experience

Far from city, rude staff, costly, they charge you for everything, nothing much to do, avoid staying here, go for patong, only best thing was there pool, 24 hr pool, if you just want to be in room or resort than only you can stay,
