Terrible and highly overrated

Worst hotel ever. No 5 star facilities whatsoever. No power back up even. Only 2 options for breakfast no pool, spa or room service. Worst, staff is arrogant and not at all ready to cooperate not even fit for stay with children.

First of all, I would like to thank you for taking the time to post a review. Your feedback is of utmost importance to us. However please note that we are a Luxury boutique hotel, and we do not operate ourselves as a 5-star hotel. Also, we do not have a pool or a spa in our property and nowhere including our website indicate that we do so. Kindly note that we do have 3 breakfast options, 2 western and 1 Sri Lankan breakfast. We are pleased to say that we are always ranked on the top with the food varieties, we offer and also being highly praised for the quality of the food we provide from all our reviewers. Also, it is so disappointing to hear that you’ve mentioned that we do not have room service, which is not true as we do offer room service till 9:00 pm and such false information will only mislead our guests. Had you requested room service our staff would be more than trilled to cater to your needs. Our staff is one of the friendliest staff and as Sri Lankan’s we always pride ourselves on generous hospitality as we consider guest's satisfaction as a priority always. Finally, as explained to you during your stay it is out of our capacity to allocate rooms next to each other when you book 2 rooms on 2 different categories. Hence one cannot expect us to allocate adjoining rooms since the reservation made for 2 rooms. However, we are pleased that we managed to get you nearby rooms. We invite you to enjoy Luxury Boutique experience at Yara Galle Fort in the near future.

Galle is all about cobbled pathways and cute cafes and art and cycling and this hotel fits perfectly with that. They have the cutest rooms and a really nice vibe. They don't have the best attitude though in terms of staff, they question things like why do you want additional coffee, etc but still a good place to stay in Galle
