The rooms were alright. The staff could be more polite. I had ordered for in room dining and was told as I was in house guest I would get a 15% discount but at checkout they refused. The location is ok it is next to the one galle face mall but right at the end of the street. The food was average. Overall an ok experience.

We had an excellent experience staying at Shangri La. The staff is courtesy personified and extremely helpful. My wife had injured her leg and the staff made sure she did not face any inconvenience. Definitely looking forward to another stay at Shangri-La soon. Special mention to the doctor on call Dr. Chandan Galapatti. He was an Angel in disguise and we are ever so thankful to him. Overall a good experience. Excellent property and amenities. Amazing location with ocean views. Courteous and helpful staff. A responsive concierge and travel desk. Only issue was with the dinner and breakfast buffet where, while food quality was good, about 75% of the dishes were repeated daily.

Though we have requested for a sea view 2 bedroom appartment we were told only lake view was available. However as we are a group my friends who came with in 5 minutes of our checkin were allotted a sea view 2 bedroom appartment. When asked why we were not give the same as we requested fornone they had no reply. I feel at-least when we request they shouldn't take us on a ride and lie to us.

We had an excellent experience staying at Shangri La. The staff is courtesy personified and extremely helpful. My wife had injured her leg and the staff made sure she did not face any inconvenience. Definitely looking forward to another stay at Shangri-La soon. Special mention to the doctor on call Dr. Chandan Galapatti. He was an Angel in disguise and we are ever so thankful to him. Much appreciated team Shangri la.

Location it was very good, did is well connected with the premium Shangri-La Hotel Colombos and malls. Nice ambience and rooms were spacious. Bathrooms were good and very weak designed. Balcony views were very good. Room service is also very good.
