How to Reach the Property

From Male International Airport, there are two ways to reach the Kandima Maldives. A 40-minute seaplane transfer costs USD 590 per adult, USD 390 per child (2-12 years) , and is complimentary for infants (up to 2 years) .The second option is a domestic flight (25 minutes) + a boat ride (15 minutes) .The total cost is USD 350 per adult, USD 290 per child (2-12 years) , and is complimentary for infants (up to 2 years) .All costs are round trip and inclusive of all taxes.Guests must share flight details with the property at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

The location and overall ambience of the resort is top notch....But the food was not as per expectations... especially considering it a five star resort and the amount paid for all inclusive..I think it's not worth it. Same foods are repeated afternoon and night... that's too bad...... Many of the outdoor activities could not be done, like para sailing as concerned person said it's not right time...The BOB shown in the website which we were excited to try was not even working.... Totally disappointed with outdoor activities and the prices are too high.....

The property is exceptionally located. Its staff was courteous and always helpful. The food was scrumptious, especially their indian selection. A special shout-out to kishan, the chef at the flavor restaurant, for his flair with dishes. A louder shout-out to the waiting staff at the breeze bar and forbidden bar for fixing delicious drinks. However, i do feel that the property could be more responsive to queries through e-mails and/or calls. All-in-all, a great stay.

1. Travel to kandima - kandima is far from male. It will take a whole day to travel to or from. Kandima. Travel score - 1/5 2. Location - great isolated location and great waters - score - 5/5 3. Food - average but good spread and options. Overall happy with the food. Happy to see an specific indian menu option. Score - 4/5 4. Staff - very friendly and great - score - 5/5 5. Water activities - not so great for non swimmers. If you are a non swimmer, and want to do watersports, skip kandima. Score - 2/5 6. Property accessibility - overall happy with how we were able to explore the property. However for room service, always had to wait approx 10 mins over call. Score - 3. 5/5. 7. Specials for special occasion - the quality of specials (like bed decor, fruit basket) was very cheap. It felt like a poor man’s special. I would rather have kandima remove the specials. Score - 1/5.

Kandima is an amazing choice for families. There are lots of things to do day and night. It is modern, comfortable and full of positivity, starting from the aqua blue theme up to the musical bands around the resort. I have to highlight the high service quality from the moment you arrive to male airport, a hotel agent was there and took care about everything. A hello waving hands was waiting us on arrival with a fresh welcome drink and cold towels. Another thing to be highlighted is that the modern building and room styles made it empty of leisured and insects which is usually so common on the tropical islands. Water sports activities are there with a kind staff. A resort application is there with a daily events schedule.

Stayed for 4 days. Started with sky studio, then aqua villa and beach villa. It was all worth it. Food is vegetarian and never felt we are compromising. Loved the food at flavours. Complementary snorkeling trips are must go.
