This hotel did not seem like a 5 star hotel at all. To start off the the hospitality was terrible right during the check-in process during which the hotel staff wanted to limit the conversation to a minimum, which i can probably chalk up to the lack of good english knowledge. I do expect 5 star hotel staff to be able to handle communication in english especially in a central location. Next is the lack of instructions to get to my own room and i had to ask random strangers to get to my own floor through the elevator since the first elevator only takes you to 31st floor where transfers to 34th floor is available. Lastly, the room itself was quite lacking with unclean flush for the bathroom and dirty spots in the bath floor. To add to this, the room did not have international charging outlets while only having usb-a charging outlets. It’s 2024 and at the very least, a country like hong kong must have hotel rooms equipped with international outlets and if not at the very least multiple usb-c outlets. I would not recommend this nightmare hotel unless you get a steal of a deal at $100 a night which is what this hotel is worth. This regal hong kong hotel can pass as a 3-star or 4-star on its best day. Know what you are getting into if you still want it stay here after reading my review.

The experience was poor at the regal hong kong hotel

We were made to wait for 3 hours before check-in. We were asked to pay extra 500 hkd to get the room access early. There was no proper waiting area, no response from staff. Also, when we had booked the room it said breakfast for 3 people however my 9 year old child was denied breakfast. We were asked to pay 88hkd on a daily basis for her breakfast

The hotel is overall good and have spacious room which have very good cooling system. House keeping services were excellent. Location is superb as it is 2 minute walking distance from indian restaurant and main shopping hub. Nearest mtr of causeway bay (exit f1) is only 3-4 minute walking distance. Hotel has beautiful interior and other dining options within the lobby area. Staff is very helpful and concierge services were too good. Location is excellent food options nearby are excellent (max donald’s, indian restaurant etc) reachability is good by mtr and taxis.

Location is excellent other than that new and untrained front desk staff which makes your check in a task, ask for Jay or Paul they were quite courteous and knew what they are doing, they had old rooms with only two charging sockets and rickety spring beds which gives back ache, service has deteriorated over last few years.

There was a rude call from someone in house keeping saying that they cannot provide more than 3 water bottles per day the rest will be chargeable. But when I went to the front desk they said that the water will be provided on complimentary basis.

We came to celibrate our anniversary .. Followed by a Macau trip. Hotel is pretty decent. There is a little problem in conversation, as English is not there first language. Being a tourist spot you need fluent English speaking people at least at reception .. Other wise on in whole a good hotel .. Very perticular about their check in at two .. Late check out by an hour they were pretty OK with .. Thanks to make my trip once again for giving the best rate .. And make our trip reasonable ..

A very unfriendly service to begin with at the chaotic reception where I stood in a queue waiting to finish my check in process in spite of prior confirmation of booking. Not a quick process. Check in is at an odd hour of 2 pm but got the cleaned room only at 3 pm. We were strictly told that the checkout however would be at sharp 12 noon. Very unprofessional. Staff are not at all fluent in English and we Chinese was Greek and Latin to us. No hand wash in bathrooms. Choice of food especially Indian was a rarity.

The Regal HongKong Hotel is overall good and have spacious room which have very good cooling system. House keeping services were excellent. Location is superb as it is 2 minute walking distance from indian restaurant and main shopping hub. Nearest mtr of causeway bay (exit f1) is only 3-4 minute walking distance. Hotel has beautiful interior and other dining options within the lobby area. Staff is very helpful and concierge services were too good. Location is excellent food options nearby are excellent (max donald’s, indian restaurant etc) reachability is good by mtr and taxis.

Hotel location is very good is very near to shopping place and MTR. Rooms was a good size compared other Regal HongKong Hotel in hong kong. Room was clean and staff is very good and kind specially housekeeping staff was a very helpful. My opinion this Regal HongKong Hotel is the good Regal HongKong Hotel in this location.
