Fine experience, but can be improved

Location is good, staff at reception and entry were courteous, helpful and very friendly. Washrooms were clean. Pillows on bed had some odour. Only 2 water bottles complimentary. More should be provided when we are paying so much.

The location is excellent, it's in the heart of the old quarters opposite the hoan kiem lake. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our booking included breakfast and we enjoyed it a lot. Since it is a row house property the rooms are small and rooms with windows are costlier but as such we were only using it for sleeping so it wasn't a big deal to book a room without a window to save cost. The street gets pedestrianised every weekend and it becomes so lively. Great stay. We enjoyed it a lot.

The hotel is located very close to the Hoan Kiem lake and you have a famous water puppet show (must watch). Stay in the hotel was cosy and staff super friendly.

Superb hotel at amazing location with great staff and food

I stayed 2 nights with my 3 year old child. It was a big deal for me to move out from a excellent American hotel to this cozy hotel. It was such a pleasant surprise to see such an extraordinarily clean and beautifully done up hotel. For the first time in my six week SE Trip, I found awesome toiletries! The staff is so kind, polite and considerate. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. The location is spot on the lake. Awesome views. It’s 5 minutes walk from French Quarters, old quarters, woman’s museum, water puppet, theater, Hop on Hop Off bus, opera House etc.
