Rooms are spacious, bathroom is accessible for elderly and wheel chair users. Location is close to tourist attractions by cab. Breakfast needs more vegan varieties otherwise quite monotonous. Cleanliness and hygiene is good front desk receptionists are friendly. Security deposit of usd 100- per night is quite high and not released immediately upon checkout. Otherwise all was well with our 4 nights stay at this hotel in oct 2024. Pool was closed due to season.

Not very comfortable stay

Room small very poor allocation, water big issue. We were not allocated room which was booked though hotel tried to compensate but child had to sleep in unorganised bed. Breakfast line too long and mad rush not likely to book again

The hyatt place - dc capitol

The property is located at the crux of washington dc”s desolate habitation, the place is unsafe and absolutely unfit for tourists who want to go out and take a stroll - it’s teeming with drug abusers and the unfortunate homeless- something you don’t want to see while on holiday. The room service gets a score of -10. We stayed 4 days and not once was the bed made or the room cleaned up. Wake up to a serpentine cue of guests waiting their turn at the breakfast buffet that’s served by staff who care a damn- the food gets another -20? in terms of quality and variety. And last but not the least - the free wi-fi in the rooms was the biggest joke - it didn’t work and no, the hotel didn’t care, despite our repeated complaints.

The girl at reception was very nice & courteous. The room was neat & clean. Overall ambience was very good. Check-in & check-out were hassel free. Breakfast was free and excellent. There were no extra charges/hidden charges charges at check-out. Overall excellent place to stay with family.

Good hotel, moderate service wise, area feels unsafe

Room itself is large and impressive The rooms have a ventilation shaft apparently which keeps blowing cold air into the room and this cannot be controlled this means a rough night especially in the cold weather I spite of complaining about a bedside lamp not working, it wasn't fixed Area is upcoming, doesn't seem safe to walk around especially at night.

Location is very accessible. Service was excellent, staff were polite and responsive. The breakfast buffet was very american. It could be improved by including other varieties and cuisines.
Well laid out and spacious room with all essentials provided. The wall sized large glass window facing the Road also made it feel lively.

Rooms are spacious, bathroom is accessible for elderly and wheel chair users. Location is close to tourist attractions by cab. Breakfast needs more vegan varieties otherwise quite monotonous. Cleanliness and hygiene is good front desk receptionists are friendly. Security deposit of usd 100- per night is quite high and not released immediately upon checkout. Otherwise all was well with our 4 nights stay at this Hyatt Place Washington DC/US Capitol in oct 2024. Pool was closed due to season.

Location is very accessible. Service was excellent, staff were polite and responsive. The breakfast buffet was very american. It could be improved by including other varieties and cuisines.
Well laid out and spacious room with all essentials provided. The wall sized large glass window facing the Road also made it feel lively.

The stay was good , the only problem is water bottel and bell boy , both are not there, otherwise the Hyatt Place Washington DC/US Capitol is at good location and there is union market nearby

The girl at reception was very nice & courteous. The room was neat & clean. Overall ambience was very good. Check-in & check-out were hassel free. Breakfast was free and excellent. There were no extra charges/hidden charges charges at check-out. Overall excellent place to stay with family.

Hyatt place washington dc capitol is on perfect location and staff is friendly as well. Rooms are big.
