Ibis Hong Kong Central And Sheung Wan

Family Stay with 2 standard rooms w/o breakfast. Room size average Harbour View was blocked by a multi storey commercial building. But not bad view. Connectivity is good. Availability of taxi bus and tram is good. Staff is good and helpful.

Good the location was also good but I didn't take food there becoz indian food was not available there overall experience was good

The stay is close to Tram station and get connected to most places quickly. The room is small. But very clean. Water pressure is really good. And the staff is courteous.

Great place to stay 10 mins walk to Sheung wan station and if you have plan of going to Macao by Ferry it’s just a walking distance to The Star Ferry Terminal.

The location of Ibis Sheung Wan and Central is excellent. It is close to a lot of commercial centers and is surrounded with restaurants, shops, etc. The rooms are cozy and impeccably clean. There is a water cooler at the 5th floor reception so you just have to fill your water bottles instead of buying new ones. Starbucks is on the ground floor and 7/11 is a 1 minute walk. We used local buses and the stops were just a stone's throw away. Overall an excellent stay. Great value for money. P.S. space in Hongkong is very very expensive.

A decent budget hotel with a great view of the harbour (if you get the room) located in Central & Sheung Wan, walking distance from the Metro Station. The room has the basic necessities and restaurant on the 5th floor has a coffee shop & beer on the tap. If you would like to explore restaurants then good ones are located close by.

Superb location and super helpful staff. I got check in at 0800 am instead of 0200 pm which was relieving considering I took overnight flight. Marco and Alan were helpful. Tram and Bus stop is right infront of the hotel. The MTR station is 400 meter either side. Excellent stay!

it's best to know pro and con and then make an informed decision: cons: 1. the hotel is actually 10 minutes walk from Sheung Wan station and not near Central which is the main station. 2. there is only 1 good Indian restaurant near exit C of Sheung Wan named Basmati that we could find. 3. Lot of things are self service like refilling water bottles from reception area. 4. The breakfast is over priced and not that great for Indian veg pallet. Pros: 1. Near Macau ferry 2. Place around is not crowded and hence gives good vibes 3. Staff was friendly

They don't have anything apart from offering the room . No room service , not even water is sent to room. The breakfast menu is pathetic and nothing for Indians. They are charging super premium price for rooms, it's just the room one pays for , nothing else. Ibis is India is much better than Hong kong

The hotel has a few pros and cons worth mentioning. On the positive side, the location is excellent—right outside the hotel, you’ll find tram and bus stops, making it incredibly convenient for getting around the city. However, the rooms are extremely small and feel quite claustrophobic, especially if you’re staying for more than a night or have more than one suitcase. It’s not ideal if you’re looking for comfort or space. The food was another downside. Vegetarian options were very limited and not particularly appealing. If you follow a vegetarian diet, you might want to plan your meals elsewhere. Overall, great location but lacking in room comfort and food variety.

The hotel gave as early check in without requesting. They regularly cleaned the room which was a relief after a long day. Their harbour view room is beautiful . Small compact rooms perfect for two people. Simple and compact rooms , efficient house keeping . Allowed early check in. Bag storage available after check out. Convienent location

The hotel is good, break fast was the main reason we stayed here, though it's little far from main buzzing streets like mongkok, tsim sha sui. Harbour view rooms are good here.

Ibis is ideally situated on hong kong island, nestled between the bustling central business district. Its location ensures both safety and convenience with excellent connectivity to buses and trams, enhancing ease of commute. The proximity to the nearest metro station, just about 200 meters from the main entrance, adds to the convenience. Opting for a select harbour view room offers stunning views of kowloon harbour, with higher floors providing an even more spectacular perspective. While no bottled water is provided in the rooms, a water dispenser is available on the fifth floor, which is easily accessible and rarely an inconvenience. The staff at ibis are prompt and respectful, ensuring a seamless experience with check-in and check-out processes, and maintaining privacy without intrusion. The hotel's fifth-floor location in a safe neighborhood and its proximity to numerous local attractions enhance its appeal. The room's quietness contributes to a peaceful stay. Overall, my experience at ibis was exceptionally pleasing, marked by comfort and convenience.

Disgusting stay they didn't even provide water, rude staff not worth the money. Paid for one night and the service was pathetic

Very poor upkeep of the hotel, the rooms and the furniture. The staff at reception is also equally untrained. If you ask for 1 hour late checkout, they will start bargaining with you for 30 mins only / for 45 mins only. Such a pathetic hotel.
