Beautiful property but average to poor food for Vegetarians

Renaissance is definitely a property you choose to chill and relax. The beach is not crowded and staff is extremely courteous. The property is well maintained and rooms are spacious. Reception staff is warm and quick to respond. I would love to go their again. The only let down was food. My wife is the vegetarian and the dal makhni we had was hands down the worst we ever had. They should remove the options thay cant cook from menu to not spoil customer experience.

Amazing stay

The staff was friendly, service was great, rooms were big. The resort is right on the beach, a bit away from the town (but great as the beaches were empty and not crowded at all). The breakfast options was huge. I skipped lunches as I was too full from the breakfast.

Had a wonderful time at Renaissance Resort. It has a private Beach which is calm and serene. It also has kids play area, swimming pool and travel desk to help you plan your City travel. Really liked the breakfast and service of the staff. We prefer vegetarian food and they made all the efforts to make sure, we get the vegetarian dishes. Each and every member of their hotel was exceptionally customer oriented and willing to go extra mile to make your stay comfortable.

Liked the place. It was peaceful and quiet. Only problem is that it is too far from every other entertainment place and that made mobility a bit of an issue. If you just want to stay at one place and not move around, it is a great place to be. The resort although beachside has no restaurant right near the beach. The view between the restaurant and the beach is blocked by people sunbathing, umbrellas and masseurs. I would have preferred to sit at a place where I can look at the beach without people walking around in front of me which spoilt the peace for me. Rest, staff seems okay. Not going out of their way to help or anything as you would expect with a 5 star property. I have been to Taj and their hospitality is like no other - they will go out of their way to deliver the ultimate experience, which is what I expected out of this place but that was not the case. The spa treatments were good. Pricing is average for the spa as well as for the food.
