Hotel is a part if the YWCA headquarters .. which is useful to know , because the Hotel Sign itself is not prominent . Also the Restaurant on site is very Basic with strict timings , so it’s not a Full Service hotel !

Rooms are small with no balcony. They force you to deposit HKD 500 at the time of checkin as a security amount, this is no where mentioned on the website or mmt description. No complementary water bottles available, they doesn't have a restaurant in the hotel so you have to order from outside everytime, no cutlary and plates available at the hotel. Extremely disappointed and highly not recommended.

Hotel located near peak of Hong Kong

This hotel located near peak of Hong Kong. You get the peak. Hotel nearby have Trammed which near to hotel 200 meters. Location is calm and nice. Peak view is really wonderful to see 360 degree view of Hongkong. We enjoyed the stay in the hotel too. Nice service too.

While the hotel is conveniently located, the following needs to be kept in mind. They don't provide drinking water in the room. There are not enough plug points in the room and the one that is there is not very conveniently located 3. They did not refresh the complimentary tea, sugar, coffee sachets on a daily basis the rooms however are decently sized and clean.
I did want an extended check-out by a couple of hours and I even offered to pay for it but they couldn't help me. They should provide at least two bottles of drinking water.

Nice View and nice Hotel nice Room Only problem with plug points at least one plug point should be international or plug device be in the room for alternate option otherwise its very difficult with local plug in since Indian plug inns not work in Hong Kong luckily I have international plug inn otherwise I will be **** up, other all OK

The location of the hotel is very good. It is present in the Hong Kong central. Locations like peak tram, lan kwai foon, Cathedral are just 10 to 15 mins drive from there. Not worth the money but a decent hotel for the family stay. All the rooms are non smoking. This again another reason for the families to stay up here.

There was no swimming pool in the hotel, even though the hotel website says that there is one. The staff in the reception are kind and helpful. I didn't had any problems in the 1 day which I stayed there. I would recommend this hotel if you don't find any other good hotel at a cheaper price than garden palace and if your main visit destination is the peak and trail around the peak.

Garden View Hotel was great value for money. Free in room WiFi for 2 devices. The only downside is that it is near the peak and is steep climb up! Walking distance (10 minutes downhill, coming back is a taxi ride unless you have great stamina to climb hills) to the food and nightlife hotspot Lan Kwai Fong dotted with great options of bars. The place is a 15 minutes walk to Hong Kong MTR station in central and airport express. Again train station to the hotel will have to be a taxi ride. Overall good.

Overall very good hotel. Centrally located. Enjoyed the stay. Reception services were very cooperative. Helped in locating the place to be visited. Baggage keeping was possible beyond check-in hours and it was neatly kept. Good WIFI network. Value for money.

Thank you. Good place with nice view. Room was nice, big and clean. Everything was perfect, except one thing, free wifi is not available in the room but only in the lobby. Clean room with a view of zoo and backside of buildings. Nice breakfast. Next time, we will stay again.

- The hotel is very clean and tidy. - Rooms are compact but pretty much have everything. - The Location is very bad as this hotel is away from most of the key attraction areas and is situated up the hill. So, if you are walking to the hotel, you will have a lot of calories to burn. Strictly, no for people with luggage. - The hotel staff is helpful but not considerate enough to make you feel comfortable. - Definitely not worth the price you pay but in Hong Kong, if you have anything close to the major attractions, it will be better.
