Excellent choice for a stop at Venice

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our trip to Venice. This hotel is about 5-10 mins by walk from the Venezia Mestre train station. It is in the middle of a residential community and next to another hotel - Hotel Cris The check-in was swift. There was only one person at the reception and she would escort each person checking in to their room and explain the amenties of the room The room itself is very neat and well kept. There is no water heater in the room and they do not refill the water (4 bottles provided at checkout). Other than that everything was good The bathroom was very neat and everything was in good working condition The breakfast (which we paid along with the room rent) was excellent. The have a very good spread and we were glad we added this while booking as there are not many places to eat around here You have two options to travel to Venice. Bus which stops about 5 mins away from the hotel and take 15 mins or the train which is from the train station and takes 10 mins. We bought the bus+vaparetto 48 hour pass for 30 Euros each which provided unlimited transportation on both. The only catch was the bus to airport was extra (8 euros each). I highly recommend you buy the pass if you plan to travel by vaparetto was they are expensive (7. 50 euros each way) I would have rated the hotel 5 stars had they provided us with water heater and refilled the complimentary water. The path to the hotel after you turn from Via Pave has some people you wouldn't want around you drinking liquour on the streets. They did not disturb us but never the less it did make us uncomfortable taking that walk on the street to the hotel.

Clean hotel, not good service and away from Venice

Location - Away from Venice, though buses go in intervals of 10-15 minutes. Service - For everything you need to go the reception, e. G ., getting water, iron box, etc. No body would come to the room for any service, except for cleaning the room. Room - Was clean and good, though a bit small. Facilities - Very minimal.

Excellent Hotel at Great Location

We visited this hotel Villa Costanza in Venice for two days in september. This hotel is located at a great location just 5 mins walk from Venice Mestre railway station. The bus stop is just 2 mins walk to the hotel and from there you could get bus to Venezia city (santa lucia venice- just 15 min bus ride) and roam around whole day and get back in 15 mins in night. Also, All trains stop at Venice Mestre station so arrive at Mestre and get to hotel. Now coming to hotel, cleanliness is perfect, rooms are of good size, well cleaned, bathrooms perfect, air conditioning good. One feedback is just for the receptionists, they should be more welcoming. They are kind of very straight forward, not quite of welcoming nature with at least smiling faces Guests expect from them.
