Nice property but terrible staff

We booked for superior double bedroom and had requested to provide some special arrangements as we went there for our birthday celebration. The staff at reception was really rude and kept us waiting for almost one and a half hour for check in. At first, they rejected that they don't have any booking for us. We showed them receipts and confirmation from MMT and then after one an half hour they agreed to give us room. After that forget about any arrangement, they gave us room with twin bed and refused to give us double bed. Later we requested room service staff to join the beds. There were a few positives and negatives overall. Positives about this property. Nice view from all rooms. Complimentary sauna for guests have orchestra every night. Negatives: Rude and horrible staff. Overpriced and bad food. Their pet parrots and other birds have too loud voice and keeps on disturbing since early morning.

It was very pleasant. Property is huge and have so many things activities to do but next thing about the place is number of pets they have which was for me so relaxing and pleasant as I am pet guy. Pets are kept in excellent conditions so I could understand the mind set of management and I would recommend it is a must visit/stay if you are planning to go to Batam.
