The hotel was very good and near the airport. There was a shuttle facility available from airport to hotel so that was best. Also the train train rumlang is at a walking distance so we took the train the second day to reach hotel. Service was good overall.

Hotel at good location close to city centre and zurich airport

I was looking for a hotel close to zurich city centre for short commute and location of the hotel met my expectations. However, room size was not adequate. Breakfast was good. B&b hotels are anyway budget and can't expect much out of them. No electric kettle was provided. However, there was a common microwave where you can heat your food if req.

This hotel is conveniently located around 6-8 minutes walk from zurich wallisellen train station that is circa 10-15 minutes train ride from the zurich hb (central station. The rooms are pretty basic and small. The breakfast disappointed the most with the items like croissants and scrambled egg not replenished for around half an hour! only one gentleman handling the breakfast. The reception staff was not that good.

Just an okay hotel

I would give a 2. 5/5. Rooms were clean but small. The lights in the room were very dim. Even after all lights were switched on room still remains dark. Washroom was good but again no dental kit /shaving kit. Hotel is highly understaffed and even those who are there are probably working part time (not sure), coz everyday a new face would come up. I had issues with wifi which was not accessible in my room (accessible in lobby. It took 2 days to get it rectified after dozen complaints. There is no restaurant in hotel ! (not a good thing when u have 100+ rooms in your hotel. The breakfast is served with pre-cooked food. But lobby area has drinks which u can have. One of the check-in staff was rude and tried to act smart by overcharging. My booking was for 2adults&1child and with this the city tax mentioned was chef 15. The lady after charging the chef 15 (right at the check-in, usually they charge this amount at checkout but anyways), asked for extra 7. 5 chef for the child ! when i insisted that the booking clearly shows the amount and i am not paying anything apart from that written in my booking, she said very rudely that she will talk to the manager. The manager never bothered me, justifying my stand. So not a great hotel in terms of services. Just okay okay.

The B&B Hotel Zurich East Wallisellen was very good and near the airport. There was a shuttle facility available from airport to B&B Hotel Zurich East Wallisellen so that was best. Also the train train rumlang is at a walking distance so we took the train the second day to reach B&B Hotel Zurich East Wallisellen. Service was good overall.
