Reached St. Petersburg from Helsinki wire train and had to change metro at two locations to reach Sadovaya Metro station. The Dom Knyazya was hardly 150m away from the metro. Once we reached Hotel allegro our initial reaction was haven't we done a mistake in choosing this property for our stay in Saint Petersburg as the building looked very old from outside. But we were amazed to see that this budget Dom Knyazya was indeed a hidden gem. It was very close by to all the major tourist attractions. The rooms were neat and clean and the morning breakfast was sufficient. The Dom Knyazya was also conveniently located near the local market where you can shop for souvenirs and normal stuff. I would highly recommend the place for people looking for a budget stay.
