Firstly, if you are looking to stay at Villa Odino thinking its at Venice, think again. It's about 22 Kms from the main Venice and you would have to take a train or a taxi (approx 40 euros one way). On arriving at Quarta D'Altino station, about a 30 minute train ride from Venice, it's a must to have the hotels number handy. We ended up walking the 2km stretch since there are no cabs available at the train station. The hotel needs to be informed and they send a shuttle to pick you (2 euros per person charge). The hotel is a beautiful property situated in the peaceful town of Quarta D'Altino in Venice, but no where close to Venice City. Travelling to Venice is about 40 minutes each way an can be planned effectively once you have the train schedule that the hotel provides you with. The overall experience of the hotel was good, post the minor mishaps of the 2km walk. There is nothing much in the town of Quarta D'Altino apart from a supermarket and a very few food joints and shops. The rooms of the hotel are very nice !!! It's very good if you are looking for a peaceful getaway and are OK with the 40 minute one way travel to the main place. The staff is very co-operative and kind.

The room and service was excellent. It's a bit far from City but still worth it. Facilities provided and the food was awesome. The staff were very helpful in arranging cabs and listening to our queries. The shuttle service from/to Quatro the altino station was good.

The Borgo ca' dei Sospiri needs to be informed and they send a shuttle to pick you (2 euros per person charge). The Borgo ca' dei Sospiri is a beautiful property situated in the peaceful town of Quarta D'Altino in Venice, but no where close to Venice City.
