We stayed in Disney Explorer lodge for a day. Its near to airport & well connected. Once inside, its a beautiful self sufficient campus wherein you can easily go to park & other hotels using free shuttle. Location is next to beach with a great view. The rooms are spacious with most facilities which we did not find in other hotels. Food options are there but we missed eating there. We were provided early checking and upgrade to sea view room by paying a small amount. There is a Disney merchandise shop too & a hotel guest is provided discount coupons which is hard to get elsewhere. Moreover, hotel guests have priorrity access to the park which saves lot of time & hassle. To conclude, staying in Disney was our best decision & we could have stayed for 1 or 2 more days there.

It was a very pleasant experience to stay in the Disney explorer lodge …. Easy access to the Disney resort & location of this property is awesome. We stayed as a family. Felt like staying in the African forest . Interior of the property is simply superb 👌

It was mesmerising experience starting from check in at 12 pm. Location is very convenient, right at the sea! sea viewing family rooms in higher floor gives a clear view! family room has two queen sized beds - great for family of four without any additional cost. World of colors restaurant has indian food on their menu.

Very much overpriced and not really a 5 star property. I was expecting a much better hotel at disney. Room are simple and fail to give a feel of disney. Only luggage storage and shuttle bus were the services which can be appreciated.

Expensive stay but worth for kids

Location of disney resort is very convenient, they have shuttle service to disney park and mtr station. Staff is very helpful, only problem is it’s expensive for breakfast and meals. Another problem is they say you can meet characters during breakfast but we didn’t encounter anyone. Later found that on tuesday they don’t come to restaurant, it was not mentioned anywhere. Good experience though i recommend.

We stayed for 6 nights at Disney Explorers Lodge. It is an excellent place for relaxation with amazing view of the sea. Back entrance opens on promenade. Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Especially nice to kids. Food is good if you are a non vegetarian but expensive. Very limited options for vegetarians though. Disney Hollywood hotel on the other hand has Indian menu in one of their restaurants. Recreational activities organised by staff in all of Disney hotels can be better. One expects a lot more from Disney hotels. Meeting Disney characters can also be better. Currently you meet them only in restaurants in breakfast which means you have to buy buffet breakfast which is very costly. Connectivity to Disney Park and to city is excellent via MTR and shuttles. Overall though a very convenient and relaxing atmosphere.
