Good hotel

This hotel is amazing, the staff, services, food and rooms. It’s a nice place to stay at the rooms are big and comfortable. The location is a 10 min bus ride from chamonix which we did not know at the time of booking but i’m glad we chose to stay at this property it was nice to experience the hotel.

Very bad hotel and worst

I had already paid the full room charges in advance even then they asked me the credit card during check-in which I thought they might need to check details of my credit card through which I had paid. Without my knowledge they debited 240 Euros to my card as a deposit which if asked could have paid in cash too. During final settlement at check-out they could refund my deposit stating they have not received the debited deposit amount while my credit card had confirmed in email as well as SMS confirming the spend of 240 Euros at the mercure hotel. Overall I had to invest almost 2 hours during check-out with worst ever service found in any 4 star hotel. The star rating of this hotel needs to be completely erased not worth at all.
