A 5 star, well kept. in Si Lom area. Lots of bars around. Patpong night market just across the street. Indian restaurant across the street. Sukhumvit is a bit far, especially given Bangkok traffic!

6 of us stayed here included 4 kids for 5 nights. Our rooms were lovely, clean and spacious. Check-in was seamless with the staff being very hospitable friendly and professional. The in-house restaurant was fabulous. This hotel is within walking distance to the; night markets, a variety of eating places.

The hotel is abutting the night market. It is great to walk out of the hotel to mingle with the night crowd and the famous street vendors, and stagger back to the hotel fine. The hotel was extremely clean with awesome shower. Unfortunately the remelt cigarette smell was obvious when entering the room in the evening. But it was not too bad, since I was able to sleep fine and could not smell it in the morning. The concierge staff was extremely helpful, asking about the sightseeing I did the previous day, did I enjoy it. The breakfast buffet does not come with the base rent for the room is excellent for American or other western foods. I enjoyed it very much. If you are expecting Idli or Chapathi variants, do not pay for breakfast, eat some place else.

The Le Meridien Bangkok is abutting the night market.
