I enjoyed my stay at Porta Fira, though it is on outskirts of Barcelona City which in a way is good for people who likes calmness and less crowded vicinity. But city isn't far away and very much approachable via different means of transportation.

I stayed at Porta Fira for a week which is at outskirts of Barcelona City, it got a shopping mall in a 5 walking distance and availability of taxi services in less than 2 mins, I enjoyed my stay here, breakfast buffet is worth the price, services are lighting fast.

The hotel is located in the business area of Barcelona and is half way between the airport and the city center. The metro station is walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are clean, spacious and the beds are very comfy and the view from the rooms is fantastic. 2 standout features of the hotel are it's structure, which is an impressive & hard to miss red tower and also the shower, which is like a walk-in shower in the room itself and is roomy and high class. The internet was a bit slow according to other hotels in Europe but worked just fine. The staff were cooperative and nice. The only drawback is that they don't offer a airport shuttle service.
