Please don't stay in the hotel. My watch and Rayban were stolen. My roommate's phone. The hotel staff says we can't do it. Please don't stay.

The hostel is average but in a convenient location. Most attractions such as Casa Batallo and Casa Mila, even Sagrada Familia are in a walking distance. I did not try their mini restaurant but the kitchen area was always busy. With respect to services, they don’t offer much - just bed sheets are included in your reservation and everything else is extra. So much so there are no toiletries, not even hand soap in your room. Which is fair I suppose given the extremely cheap price. The property is okay, nothing spectacular. It could do with some makeup, or perhaps the run down-ness of it is the aesthetic they’re going for. I was one of the only two women in a mix 8 bed dorm however my experience was very good. Good crowd, no one was rowdy or misbehaving, however that maybe just a gamble. It’s a hostel after all and you can never ensure what you’re getting in terms of company. Maybe this is a Europe thing or a sports locker room thing, given the sporty vibe they’re going for here, but the showers did not have locking doors. The stained glass door provided basic privacy but you could easily be walked in on. However people aren’t stupid or malicious, so no one really did that. All in all, I can recommend this place if you’re on a budget and don’t have to stay for long.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Positive Reviews I booked this hotel after reading several positive reviews, but unfortunately, my stay did not live up to expectations. 1. Stay Rating: 6/10 The rooms were average, and hygiene was an issue, particularly in the bathrooms, which were messy. One room had no latches in the bathroom, and the transparent door offered no privacy, making for an uncomfortable experience. 2. Staff Rating: 2/10 The staff, particularly the lady at the front desk, were extremely rude. After a flight schedule change, we extended our stay by one night. Alex (hotel staff) initially agreed to let us stay in the same room, but the next morning, the lady at the counter denied this and was very dismissive. When we re-checked in later, we were forced to change rooms for no clear reason, and again, the explanation given was inadequate. Overall, the unprofessionalism and rude behavior of the staff made us feel unwelcome, as though they were doing us a favor by providing accommodation. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
