Rude and biased behaviour at the reception

We checked in at around 3.30 pm. The lady at the reception standing on counter no 2 from the left called out a white gentleman before me although I was the first one headed towards her very unapologetically. She also gave us very hateful looks due to which I was upset throughout our two days stay despite the room and location being great.

The hotel has spacious and well kept rooms, its location is perfect with shops restaurant theatres and most attractions within walking distance & the crown jewel times square is a 3 min walk which puts you in the heart of nyc yet a safe distance from the chaos and madness of times square

The rooms were big and spacious. They were maintained neat and clean. Also the front desk and staff were cooperative. The hotel is very nicely located right in mid of times square being 3 mins walking distance.

I was not happy with hospitality

Except a point that the hotel is in a prime location and a big brand, the comfort and hospitality are not where you get if you want to stay. Room is decent, comfort is very good for sleep but everything else is empty- even you don’t get a bottle of water to drink. Very primitive hotel for a kind of guests as there are no basic amenities, no proper restaurant, and even tooth brush is not made available. Staff are either adamant or not hospitable. For those who just drop in for sleep and few hours, it may be a choice but for guests who wants to stay for couple of nights- will be disappointing in my opinion.

The best plus point of this hotel is its location bang on main times square area, near broadway. The rooms are good, clean and well maintained. check-in at 3 pm they refused it till 4 pm. Check out is 12 pm but they refused it beyond 11 am, for everything their charges are 50 usd, to check in even 30 minutes before time or 1 hour beyond 11 am. Never faced this situation anywhere in world. At miami & boston both hotels allowed early check-in without any charges.

Next to madame tussauds and in 42nd street at times square! you couldn't ask for better! bell desk and concierge service, limited room service and a swanky bar that serves till midnight! great place to stay to experience times square at its best!

The day we checked in. We had paid for extra bed, she charged us again, she didn't give us our breakfast tickets. Also the hotel charging $7 for 1 bottle of water is inhuman. There is no staff who was pleasant.

The room was clean and spacious (especially for one in nyc. We had a balcony with a view of times square, which was lovely. The staff was very sweet as well. It was an excellent experience. They upgraded us to the hilton rewards program and we got free wifi and free water for it too. It was free of cost to upgrade. They even let us use some part of the destination charge as a credit to use in their restaurants which was a good surprise.
