Remote location and very basic things were missing in the room, electric kettle, refrigerator etc. staff and cleanliness is good. good for 1 or 2 nights

The worst experience in a European Hotel. Check in was smooth and easy, but the room was very bad. It opened onto the main street due to which it would get very very noisy.
Old Hotel with outdated room decor. The switches had turned yellow! Overall a bad place to stay but due to its location one can consider.

Ganivet hotel is located within walking distance to tourist attractions like the Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Gran Via. The added advantage of the location is that there are numerous stores close by and a metro station just 2 mins from the hotel. The hotel has a bustling cafeteria and helpful receptionists who can speak English and guide you appropriately. Rooms are also clean and well maintained. Hotel has a Jacuzzi on the 5th floor too.
