Pestana Riverside Amsterdam Made The Trip Even Sweeter!

This hotel stole our hearts faster than you can say “stroopwafel.” We stayed at Pestana Riverside and we are honestly smitten. It has that perfect blend of elegance and ease – think historic building and plush interiors. Our room had a view of the clock tower. So scenic. The river facing rooms would cost you extra, but it's totally worth it. What made it chef’s kiss for us? The location, of course! It’s just a short, breezy walk to Albert Cuyp Market (for your daily dose of fresh stroopwafels + vintage finds), and everything else from De Pijp to Museumplein is totally walkable. We barely needed public transport! But the real stars would have to be the staff. So warm, so helpful, and always smiling like they’d just inhaled a plate of Dutch pancakes. Tony, you've been specially amazing. From helping with last-minute bookings to just casually making our day better, they made us feel genuinely welcome. The Archive restaurant had amazing desserts and risotto. Also, the rooms were comfy, and totally nap-worthy after a long day of city adventures. All rooms have free water bottles and nespresso machines and you can have as many capsules as you like. It's free too! Would stay here over and over again.
