Very good hotel with very courteous staff and food was very good. Location is amazing and has a very good view of mountain range

Overall Experience was very good, stayed for a night and had a really great time. Highlights - Very welcoming and helpful receptionists both in the night and in the morning, polite and helpful staff, Clean rooms, Nice vibe from balcony and good ambiance overall. Dinner(Veg) was good, breakfast was good not great for veg options. Location is as per the google maps. The property is overall well maintained. Room we stayed was Deluxe Double Room. Room was neat and clean including washroom. Balcony is small but cute with nice city view. Toiletries, Handwash, bathing soap, dental kit all provided. Linen, Sheets and towels were fresh and clean. Car parking is limited, one car can fit in the basement which is steep and other is the street parking. For foreign tourists, card payment works, UPI payment not available, ATM is at a walkable distance.

Stayed at this hotel for 2 days. The stay was wonderful, the staff very helpful and sweet, location is very convenient and 10 steps from Phewa lake, the breakfast buffet was very good with tons of variety.

Portland is good property. Staffs are humble, cheerful & very helpful. Front desk staff, Chefs, Room service staffs all are very very good. Room is spacious, clean

Hotel was average . Amenities were there but not that upto mark . It was an old fashioned hotel . Coming to positive points :- located in main area of pokhra(near lakeside) . Everything is just a minute away . The other plus is the food of restaurant (hotel portland) . It was a bit on pricier side but very tasty .

I had an amazing stay at Hotel Portland in Pokhara! The hotel is exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-located, making it a perfect choice for both relaxation and sightseeing. What truly sets it apart, though, is the outstanding staff. Every member of the team was warm, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome and well taken care of. The service was top-notch from start to finish.

Location was very nice. Hotel manager and all staff were very courteous.neat and clean environment helped in enjoying the trip. Hotel booked the car for point of tour. Free tasteful breakfast served timely and varieties of items were served .

Hotel Portland is very good with its amenities and comfortness, also the staff were very polite and helpful. Location is quite nice and just 5 mins walking from the Fewa lake...

As per guest the stay experience is very pathetic and rooms are smelling vey bad and maintenance is also not at all good, But show`s the photos is not comparable Overall very very bad experience

During my recent stay at this property, I was highly disappointed by the experience. Day 1: The power sockets in the room were faulty, making it nearly impossible to charge my devices unless I physically held the plug in place. The kettle wasn’t working, and instead of providing a replacement, they handed me a different adaptor, which didn’t resolve the issue. The towels and bed linen were excessively worn out—far below the standard expected for the price paid. Day 2: We booked a tour directly through the hotel, expecting a seamless experience. Unfortunately, the driver skipped one of the scheduled stops without informing us and showed little interest in assisting us throughout the trip. Despite requesting multiple times for the AC to be turned on, he barely adjusted the blower, making the ride uncomfortable. When we raised our concerns with the front desk, (Indira) they refused to acknowledge the issue and still tried to charge us the full amount, as if tourists were responsible for keeping track of the itinerary rather than their own staff. Given the subpar service and complete disregard for guest satisfaction, I would neither return to this property nor recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
