No lift and hotel is on second floor only this is the drawback. Else overall a good stay. Rooms big and clean. Toilets big and clean. Wi-fi was quite weak inside rooms. Front desk helpful. Luggage storage available. Breakfast was normal. I was allowed to use microwave oven.
This hotel is on second floor and there is no lift, if you are fine with this then this hotel is not a bad choice. Quite far from Florence sun station, can't rely on public transit system. Taxi cost about 15 euro. Breakfast was normal like any other hotel. Rooms were clean and huge. Baby bed was provided. Wi-fi is weak inside rooms. Front desk staff is good, they actually helped me with taking bag up and down the stairs as I had bags and kid as well. Microwave oven was allowed to use.

Historic and charming Pensione Annalena-FANTASTIC

I spent the last evening of my Italian holiday at Pensione Annalena and it was the perfect place. Old world charm with all the modern conveniences, and located right opposite the Boboli gardens - Lovely! I would definitely stay here again, on the quieter side of Oltrarno but just minutes away from the bustling centro. Word of caution - although it says first floor, there are about 25 steps, so people with heavy luggage and walking issues might need to be prepared.
