Chaarya Resort & Spa by Chandrika

the cottages are really good, the resort is well maintained. food is ultra expensive. it was difficult to make the staff understand that I need a clean kettle to make hot water on phone so I had to go all the way to the reception. the closed door restaurant seemed good but heavily smelled of meat and will out off any vegetarian person. there are good indian/western restaurants at around 4-5 km range.

Villa is really good with a nice pool at your disposal. Quite a bit of open space, it is more like a resort than a Chaarya Resort & Spa by Chandrika. Also, they pack and give you breakfast in the morning for Yala visits, which is nice. People are also nice. We got a upgrade from normal room to the villa, which was very nicely built.

We stayed at this property for our safari to Yala. Though the stay was for only one night, we loved it. The property is huge with comfortable rooms. Food had a lot of options and was good too. The staff was cordial. Rooms and Bath rooms were big and clean. The pool area was well maintained.

Rooms were good and big but there were big ants and lizard in the lobby just outside our room. Spa is ok, swimming pool is also ok. Good thing is that they packed really good breakfast for us as we were visiting safari at morning 5 Am.

Food options were limited. 45 minutes from park. Large spacious rooms.
