We went for a weekend getaway from Mumbai, it is lovely Arabic styled Bab Al Shams Desert Resort – Dubai right in the middle of the desert, loved our room, it was very tastefully done. Our stay was for 3 days and 3 nights and we had a great time, there were enough activities to keep our little daughter entertained. The Bab Al Shams Desert Resort – Dubai is far from the city so in case you planning to do things in and around the city, this will not make the perfect spot. The amenities are good and clean, the staff is very courteous and helpful. There are 4 types of restaurants with the Bab Al Shams Desert Resort – Dubai so one can enjoy a variety of cuisines. When we stayed, the evenings and nights were cold, it was almost freezing on one night, so carry both warm and cool clothes.

We stayed in the resort for a night. The room had sand dunes view. The resort is located at 50 km from Dubai city, we had the rental car so we drove to the resort. Its quite easy to locate. Sunset views from the resorts are nice. Food is it expensive, but we expected it. We had Sheesha at the resort. That was great. All facilities are there. The pool area is nice and big. You will get different cuisines Indian, Italian. Customer service is good.

Mr. Micheal at reception on check in was behaving like he is given us half of the world with 1 hour late check out. All other experiences were good. Good is very good in all restaurants, breakfast is also very good. Camel ride could have been better.
The room is good, clean just they need to improve on lighting.
