Century Plaza Hotel

The hotel was good and service was excellent. Staff didn't understand English properly but still they were helpful. They gave us better rooms. Only problem we faced is that the hotel name is not Century Plaza Anymore. The Real name is *VELAYE HOTEL*. It is hard to find this hotel as you can't see Century plaza name anywhere. Please change that on make my trip. The best thing about this hotel is that it's near by Indian restaurant Bollywood India and the food is tasty over there

Its very good hotel and in good location and good staff and service. room also very clean its good hotel for family. Railway station is very close to any where.

I stayed at the Century Plaza hotel while on a business trip for a couple of days. This location is very close to metro stations (line 9 and line 1). It's also a mere fifteen-minute walk towards the Luohu Border, and you can literally walk across the border to Hong Kong after finishing the immigration formalities! The area around the hotel was quite happening with a lot of places to shop, east, and have good time just walking around. Will definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent and there is indian restaurant inside Hotel, which serves excellent food. Rooms need renovation But overall excellent experience Metro at walking distance.

When ever come to Xin'an, my preferred hotel is Century Plaza, location is good, many Indian Restaurants nearby, easy to access metro, its good hotel.

There was a language problem at the reception. In fact the bell boys could speak better English than the reception staff.
Overall room was very good. Reasonable size. I felt that there should have been an iron for the cloths because I was on a business trip and the cloths do need ironing during travel. I would have loved to have a microwave in the room. There was a need for shaving razor also in the bathroom. Though I have my own so it was not an issue. Location of the Hotel is very good and best part is Indian restaurant on third floor which is the best thing an Indian can have in China. Restaurant staff is very helpful.

The room has less lighting and reception staff is not able to speak or understand english. These things create a big problem. But if you can ignore these then its a great hotel. Cleanliness is 5 star and metro station is 10 steps away and indian restaurants are very close. 4 to 5 indian restaurants

10 mts walk from louhu center, 1 minute walk to metro station, many Indian and several other restaurants close by. Room was just OK, bathroom was clean but carpet wasn't. Amenities in the room were all in good condition.

Room was OK but outdated need renovation. Location was perfect. Opp is indian restaurant serving good indian food. Subway in 2 min walk. Easy to find taxi. Lohu station is 5 min. Please make sure to keep hotel card with you else diffficult to come back.

Got a great deal on make my trip for this hotel. It is very close to luohu checkpoint, so very convenient for people coming from hk. The is also an Indian restaurant "Indian curry" within the hotel which serves excellent Indian food. All in all, great value for as it is at least a 4-star hotel!

The Hotel is well located and any travel to surrounding town is easy as the CRH station is nearby and so is the long distance bus station. As travel to Shenzhen for work, I find this an excellent choice for stay. Also if you are a tourist then there are eateries of all type around the hotel. Being an Indian, we love to have Indian food and there are at least three restaurants there for Indian food. Luohu shopping arcade near the railway station is within a walking distance of the hotel. The front desk has an English speaking staff at all times and so in case of difficulties in communicating with the housekeeping staff, just call the front desk and explain your problem and it is solved. The air conditioning is a problem. No matter what the temp is set it remains around 24C. In peak summer it is a problem. But in spite of all this, would still recommend this hotel to friends.

-Hotel was OK -it's far away from Airport -As usual, no vegetarian option. There are few hotels near airport who serves Veg food -Staff is good and cooperative. -Free WiFi in the hotel Arranged drop up service to Hong Kong airport for just 200 Yuan Currency exchange was expensive affair Rooms were clean.

Would not recommend to any first time travellers. Very bad hotel for anyone who cannot talk in Chinese. None of the staff members can talk in English. And they keep laughing and make jokes about customers. We wanted a bowl to have soup they took 1 hour to give us 2 bowls. We went to their in-house Spa. They told us we have to tip them 50 Yuan for a foot massage which costs 58 yuan. When we said no they bargain on the same. They even charge tourist for a City Map. The hotel staff was not at all cooperative and was not of much help at all. When we asked them how we can go to Hong Kong airport from there they said we have to take a private taxi only and they charged us 800 Yuan for the same, which is again negotiable. Then when you tell them you have 4 bags they say too many bags so 50 Yuan extra. Was a very bad experience staying in this hotel. Would not recommend to any first time travellers.
