Good hotel with an even greater view!

I had booked this hotel for a two-night stay to end my trip to Koh Samui. I and my wife wanted a beachfront property, after a 4 night stay in a tropical view hotel. POSITIVES: The biggest surprise was being able to see the sunset from the hotel! We were on the east side of the Island, but due to its location, we saw the perfect sunset in Koh Samui. The staff are very kind and helpful. They will always greet you even if you are just passing by. I miss those beautiful smiles every staff member had on their face throughout the day! The hotel has a small restaurant as well besides the swimming pool. The swimming pool itself is an infinity pool. Lots of clubs and restaurants located around the property. There is a 7 eleven right across the street, so that's very convenient. Negatives: Only qualm I have is that I had booked the 2nd most expensive room in the hotel, but I felt the amenities and facilities in the room could have been better or at least free breakfast could have been provided for that rate. The hotel offers breakfast at chargeable per person, which was way more than you could spend on breakfast in Samui. So better to skip it. Taxi service, tours booking and bike rental services are a rip off! Avoid getting any of these services from the hotel. Bike on rent is reasonable per day, hotel charges more than the reasonable price. I availed the taxi service to the Airport since I had an early morning flight out of Samui. The hotel charged me double, where as Navigo (Uber of Samui) would have charged me half of what hotel charged, but since the availability was an issue I had to book with the hotel. Overall I had a good stay with the property. I would recommend it, considering you get a good deal.
