Great location and view

We had a good stay only because of the view and location. We stayed for 3 nights 4 days. It is a budget hotel. Food, breakfast has good options for continental and Indian/Sri Lankan) dinner is OK.
Bathroom emits funny smell sometimes. Did not enjoy twin beds for couple. No fresh towels everyday. Cleanliness overall when we arrived in room. Not good. Bunches of hair were around on the floor.

Location bad as all activity is near Bentota about 4 km far. Bad experience and worst hotel ever visited

Hotel is dying and most of facilities not working. Street dogs roam in hotel. Hotel is very old and deserted. No management and most of the staff left.
Please don’t go to this hotel. It is not even 1 star rating. Hotel is old and dying with no staff or verge of leaving. No facilities is working. Swimming pool is dirty. Street dogs roaming the hotel. We stayed for 2 nights and regret our decision to choose this hotel. Please don’t get attracted to location and price. We were initially denied check-in and 2 hours after receiving call from MakeMyTrip they gave us room. Thanks my roaming was activated and was able to make call else we have to look for another hotel with my kids and all bags in high season. No staff is helpful.

The hotel is good, beach facing and has good rooms but the restaurant only serves breakfast. The reception didn't inform us that the hotel doesn't serve lunch and dinner which left us searching for a restaurant late in the night which was very unpleasant to do.
There was a restaurant but didn't have any food. They refused to serve any dinner.

First of all they didn't acknowledge my booking since had no confirmation from Makemytrip. I landed with my family around 2330 hrs, Night time. Then started all drama being not booked my room. I tried calling your emergency no. But couldn't connect at all. I showed them MMT booking confirmation and other communication but they said they don't have any confirmation and hotel is completely booked. I requested them since my wife and kid was with me and difficult to find anything in the mid Night.

The location of the hotel is mind blowing but the hotel is not properly maintained. The view from the rooms are beautiful. Wish I could say the same for the rooms. Staff is untrained and uncooperative.
