Récif Attitude - Adults Only

The room was small but cosy. We did not like the toilet and the way the wash basin was fixed. We had fun using the amenities of the Recif Attitude - Adults Only and overall the stay was good. Nice Recif Attitude - Adults Only in the North of the island built in the nature and infinity pool has some nice view.

The room was very small, and the bathroom was badly laid out. No door to the bathroom, no door to the shower. The TV fogged up while the shower was running. We didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't matter. Had a lovely porch right outside. The public areas of the Recif Attitude - Adults Only are terrific. Lovely pool and deck. Lovely restaurant. Cosy lobby/lounge, where you'll spend some time considering it's the only place Wi-Fi is strong enough to make use of voip. Their stretch of sea might be a dealbreaker for a lot of people. The seabed is ENTIRELY covered in rocks. Those of you looking for the white sandy beach experience won't like this beach one bit. But there's far more sea life on this stretch than any other part of Mauritius we saw. We saw maybe 5 types of fish at Mon Choisy, Flic en Flac, Tamarin Bay and Pereybere. Saw easily 50+ varieties here. But beware sea urchins, and sea snakes. There's quite a few of them. Swimming shoes are a must. The neighbourhood is quite desolate. There are two great eateries within a 5 minute walk, seafood to the north, very local curries and rolls to the south. But they close about 3 or 4pm. So half board at Recif is recommended. The dinner in the Recif Attitude - Adults Only restaurant was good. Seemed to alternate between buffet and a-la-carte.
