Location 5/5 - it's right next to the duomo and all other places are within walking distance staff 4/5 - they are friendly though not very professional service 2/5 - room did not have toilet paper. Evening and night shift staff are not having much authority and power to help guests. Rooms are mostly on floor 4 which does not have elevator access and it's difficult to go upstairs from floor 3 with baggage. On our checkout the elevator broke down which happened even on the day earlier, and i had to carry our heavy baggages myself all the way from fourth floor to ground floor with help of my wife and the receptionist. Room space and facilities 4/5 - minimalist yet sufficient room basics. We liked the visually stunning brass fittings very much. Cost 4/5 - i would say it's a value for money given is super comfortable location. Recommend not to go in with heavy luggage that you cannot carry up or down 4 floors without elevator, through the stairs. Otherwise just go for it without worries.

The best part about the hotel is its location, it's just 3-4 minutes walk from the Duomo the most craved monument in Florence, plus there are many options to eat n shop in the street on which the Hotel is located. All other places of interest too are walking distance including the tram Station Unita and the SMV train Station which are just 7-8 minutes walk. The Hotel inside is nice an cozy, feels like you are staying in some heritage house as far as the lobbies and corridors go. Room was decent, but service could have been better, like towels were not changed even once during my 4 day stay, no one picks up the phone at the reception, so you have to climb to the third floor where the reception is and then come down to your floor which is the first floor, which becomes a pain at check-in when u have to do this with luggage, there is a lift but that is old and slow. Breakfast was basic, decent, not much choice. But if you are in Florence for the sight seeing all of this wont matter much as u would be returning to the hotel only to sleep.

The location is very convenient for visiting tourist areas. Staff cooperation is excellent. very near to train station. Would certainly recommend. Nearby plenty of choice for the restaurants, hence hotel need not be depended for lunch or dinner.

The best part about the Maxim Axial is its location, it's just 3-4 minutes walk from the Duomo the most craved monument in Florence, plus there are many options to eat n shop in the street on which the Hotel is located. All other places of interest too are walking distance including the tram Station Unita and the SMV train Station which are just 7-8 minutes walk. The Hotel inside is nice an cozy, feels like you are staying in some heritage house as far as the lobbies and corridors go. Room was decent, but service could have been better, like towels were not changed even once during my 4 day stay, no one picks up the phone at the reception, so you have to climb to the third floor where the reception is and then come down to your floor which is the first floor, which becomes a pain at check-in when u have to do this with luggage, there is a lift but that is old and slow. Breakfast was basic, decent, not much choice. But if you are in Florence for the sight seeing all of this wont matter much as u would be returning to the Maxim Axial only to sleep.

The location is very convenient for visiting tourist areas. Staff cooperation is excellent. very near to train station. Would certainly recommend. Nearby plenty of choice for the restaurants, hence Maxim Axial need not be depended for lunch or dinner.

Location 5/5 - it's right next to the duomo and all other places are within walking distance staff 4/5 - they are friendly though not very professional service 2/5 - room did not have toilet paper. Evening and night shift staff are not having much authority and power to help guests. Rooms are mostly on floor 4 which does not have elevator access and it's difficult to go upstairs from floor 3 with baggage. On our checkout the elevator broke down which happened even on the day earlier, and i had to carry our heavy baggages myself all the way from fourth floor to ground floor with help of my wife and the receptionist. Room space and facilities 4/5 - minimalist yet sufficient room basics. We liked the visually stunning brass fittings very much. Cost 4/5 - i would say it's a value for money given is super comfortable location. Recommend not to go in with heavy luggage that you cannot carry up or down 4 floors without elevator, through the stairs. Otherwise just go for it without worries.
