The place was good but needs maintenance. And food was horrible. We had dinner from the hotel and that was a huge mistake as it was not good at all. The room is big and good. Location wise it is good but a little far from the City.

Good weekend get away from Singapore

This was a good weekend get away from Singapore. It has a lot of water sport activities. Please book your activities in advance or else be ready to wait. They have all the sports gear but just one per activity. You would to wait till the one banana boat returns to get yourself into it. Clean rooms and great service at Nongsa Point. Reception team seems to be slow so guests have to wait a bit. Beaches are close by and it was the perfect climate nice, windy and drizzling otherwise. You can also use grab to get to the city around 35 mins from the hotel to any point. The food seemed to be priced at Singapore rates which was a surprise. Expected it to be cheaper when you are especially in so called cheaper country! Anyways you can go to the city for cheaper food if required. There was Deepavali celebrations at the hotel that weekend and it was good to see the hotel staff and community involved in this activity. Overall I would rate the trip good!

One of the best place to stay in Batam and Nongsa. Nice and very friendly staff. Nice buffet, nice swimming pool and good access to services of Turi Beach. Few of the cons include: not so well maintained rooms and lack of bathing tub in the bathroom.
