Good property. Only issue for me was the food as i am a vegetarian and would love to have indian food. Had to survive on pizza and garlic bread. I suggest they have some indian menu as well.

An average stay. The villa is decent but it is located quite far from ubud central. The facilities are also very average. It’s very isolated and one can have a feeling of seclusion. No tvs or intercom in the room. They rely on whatsapp for all the help. The choice of breakfast is also very average. The room had a stinking smell and very dim lighting inside the room and outside. Only one shuttle to central ubud in a day. Overall not recommended for people coming for the first time to bali.

Amazing Villa & Amazing people but Food 👎🏻

The villa is located at a beautiful place about 10 minutes from the rice terrace and 30 mins from Ubud market. They had arranged a special Balinese performance during dinner on the day we arrived. You can rent scooters from the reception if you would like to explore Ubud on a two wheeler. The hospitality of the people was very welcoming and gracious. If you take the villa with the private pool, then you would have to climb up and down the stairs to get to the restaurant/reception from your room. They have a private rice field trekking which we didn't have the time to explore. All in all, it was a great experience but the food was not so good. Breakfast was okay (but sometimes served cold) and we only tried a few other things on the menu since we didn't enjoy the food much.

Beautiful remote place

Pondok sebatu is a good location but a remote one. You're far from the ubud center and this would mean slight expensive commute. However, resort is beautiful. Location is right next to a rice terrace with a natural small water flow and a natural lake right inside. Food here is good enough. I would recommend, if one is ready to commute extraa for such location.

Bugs and reptiles

The place was full of reptiles and bugs. There were gecko and honeybee all around with lots of space beneath the doors and windows to enter them inside. The room was not completely close from the top also and no guarantee was given by the hotel to take care of them. Instead we have to leave the hotel and had to book another hotel on the spot.

Overall had good experience, staff was very friendly and courteous. Location of property is far from city however it is beautiful place surrounded by lots of plants. Good place for nature lover. Feels a bit scary in night.

We had our best stay in Ubud because of Sebatu villas. Staff is so welcoming. Food is amazing. Loved everything single bit of our stay nothing to complain about.. Will definitely come back soon
Nothing it was fantastic we loved the room door made of old wood everything was strategically placed.
