Ashoka Tree Resort at Tanggayuda, Ubud

Nice breakfast loved the french toast stay was big enough beautiful pool and greenery with clean rooms.

The approach road to this Hotel is narrow, I had a self drive car and faced lot of challenge every time. The entire hotel has only 1 receptionist and 1 service boy. They don’t respond on calls or fulfil any of the guest requirements post check in. We called for additional tea bags which was declined stating they need management approval for providing additional tea bags, however when we wanted to meet or talk to the hotel manager he was not available to meet or talk. The hotel is old, rooms are big in size but Bathroom fittings dont work properly. The hotel staffs are arrogant and fight with all customers whenever they request for any amenities which they cant provide. We ordered Nasi Gurain (Food) on first day and the quality was pathetic. Overall - I would recommend avoiding this Hotel as there are multiple other options available at UBUD.

It was good choice to stay in hotel i found the property in make my trip booking partner. It was very easy to book the hotel.

Property was nice and beautiful. And food was good too. Frequent power cut was there. Location was off the town, peaceful and serene.

very poor experience. When I arrived, there was no water in bathroom. Corridor and Balcony was full of pests. Staff was rude and not helpful at all. The location is not good, far away from road, very narrow road to access hotel, also there are no street lights, food is not good, room service is very pathetic, need to collect any ordered items from reception only. Over all my experience with this resort is not upto mark as per I made payment. Thank you.

Loved the food. Super pretty view, amenities, stay and everything. Will definitely visit again. They had okay kind of spa and massage service. But the breakfast was great. Would appreciate having a buffet or more varities. But overall loved it!!!

Our stay was quite underwhelming due to several issues. The staff’s behavior was consistently unhelpful and dismissive, which made the experience frustrating. Although the room included a kitchenette, no utensils were provided initially, and the ones given upon request were in an unusably dirty condition. Service was extremely slow, and most of our requests went unanswered. The in-room telephone didn’t work, and the TV struggled to connect to the Wi-Fi, making it practically unusable. Hot water was available for only 5–10 minutes at a time. Additionally, there was no lighting in the pool and kitchen areas after sunset, making those spaces inaccessible in the evening. The air conditioning unit was too small for the room, leading to discomfort, especially at night. Despite raising these concerns, the staff appeared indifferent and did not attempt to resolve any issues. The only positive aspect was the spacious and well-designed rooms. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations.

The property is extremely good and the view is mesmerising in the morning. We stayed in ashoka for 4 days. The staff of this hotel were so helpful. overall it was great experience.

We stayed in 2 bedroom villa and the room was good. The location is fine. But the resort needs major improvements in its service and maintenance. We ordered lunch on the first day and they took close to 1 hour and 30 minutes to serve. Restaurant was occupied by us (3 members) and another couple only. Breakfast items are limited and not bauffet. Overall average resort.

Review: 1. Room (Junior Suite) is specious. 2. Bath Room is Specious. 3. Resort is peaceful and surrounded by jungle. 4. Restaurant serve's good Breakfast and food. Price of the food is reasonable. Staffs are excellent. 5. Have 2 beautiful swimming pools. 6. My overall stay was good. 7. One good Indian restaurant is 10 mints walk and they provide food delivery service. Needs improvement: 1. Service is poor. Needs more service staff. 2. No bellboy. Front office officer carried luggage to the room. During check-out in the early morning I had to carry my luggage. 3. No wardrobe and locker facilities in the room. 4. Bathroom is always smelly. After complain also not rectified. Bathroom/Room freshener to be provided. 5. Timing of the SPA to be till 10 PM. Excellent resort in context to the Ambiance is one of the beautyful excellent very scenic resort..we enjoyed our private pool villa room very much...the only problem I can say is food verity as there is notuch of food verity available and also the limited breakfast and drinking water ..they provide two 300 ml drinking water for a family which is not at all enough and then you have to purchase the water from them at triple rate as there is not much stores near the resort..you have to make your own arrangements for water...otherwise the resort is really very beautyful and very well maintained..completely enjoyed our stay here..excellent rooms and theoat beautifully maintained entire resort...cheers I have already given review for this property

The resort’s ambience and appearance were impressive, creating a pleasant first impression. However, the overall experience was disappointing due to several service-related issues. Despite paying for breakfast, there was no unlimited buffet as expected. Additionally, the generator was not properly maintained, causing inconvenience during power cuts. The water supply was also inadequate. These shortcomings affected our stay, and overall, the experience fell short of expectations.

it's a good property but very understaffed and poorly managed. no inhouse restaurant. we had to do early check out for flight to airport, but there was no one at reception to assist in check out process.

Resort is beautiful. loved the vibe of the place and the staff is really supportive and sweet the rooms are nice and tidy loved the aesthetic of the place

The private pool villa that we had booked was better than we imagined. The hotel was close to Ubud market and had multiple Indian restaurants nearby. We also took spa service at the hotel and it was extremely relaxing.
