Best Western Plus Hotel Hong Kong

One of the best locations in hong kong .Rooms are bigger than most of the hotels in Hong Kong.Near to MTR Metro station.

I would rate stay at Best Western Plus average. Pros - 1. Location - it’s in front of the tram/bus station and very close to the MTR station. 2. ⁠Nearby Areas - it’s location makes most of the tourist places easily accessible. 3. ⁠There are multiple supermarkets and restaurants within 100m of this hotel. 4. ⁠There was regular room cleaning. 5. ⁠Pricing was affordable compared to other hotels in Hong Kong. 6. ⁠Staff was fine (atleast not rude) Cons - 1. They mentioned that Hong Kong government has banned single use plastic. Hence, there was no water in the room. There was nothing (e.g. dental kit) in washrooms except towels. Basically, you’ll get a small room with beds and a TV and nothing else. Not sure if this is the case with all the hotels in Hong Kong. 2. ⁠Bathroom was extremely small. You cant have a shower properly as shower room is just 2 feet wide. 3. Hotel looks very old and needs an immediate maintenance or upgrade. 4. ⁠Food options are very limited and if you are vegetarian, forget about it. 5. ⁠Amenities are not that exciting at this hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights in a mini suite. There were 3 of us and we could stay fairly comfortably. Housekeeping was done daily and the staff behaved very well The location is good with two MTR stations within walking distance. Bus stop and Tram station are right at the doorstep. The A10 bus from airport dropped us quite close to the hotel. The bus stop to the airport is right in front of the hotel. Quite a few convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The only negative that we experienced was the moldy / fungus smell in the room. Most probably it was the centralized AC. Our son developed an allergic cough and felt much better within minutes of stepping out of the room. If the hotel carries out some maintenance of the AC, it can be an extremely good place to stay.

Though the check-in was smooth, the property is not properly maintained. There was a layer of dust on lamps and other equipment. The cleaning staff only does a skeletal job and avoid even this if the guests are not in the room (a fact checked by the night supervisor on 08/08/2025). They avoid changing bedsheets even though the property has a change rule of 3 days. The property does not provide drinking water and bare essentials even on the first day of arrival.

Hotel accommodation was not good. Even checkin was not smooth. Rooms were very small and congested. There were no toiletries provided. Even there was no drinking water in the room. Not at all recommended

Reasonable price hotel for hk island bw is accessible in many ways. There is a bus stand where you can get a10 to go to airport or come from there to the hotel. The bus stand is less than 30 meters from the hotel. Then next doors there are is a starbucks and several grocery stores for basic needs. Many restaurants nearby though not indian cuisine. Taxi and buses are easy to get also. Hotel is basic. Gym is useless. Room is decent. They don’t change bedsheets which is bizzare- unless you ask front desk. Why? really?

Excellent location. Easy access to bus Metro Tram etc... lot of restaurants nearby 7/11 Kcircle etc...

We were a family of three adults so three separate beds were a big plus. The location was great. Lots of shops, restaurants around. Public transportation and taxis plentiful. View from room on 18th floor was quite good with partial sea view. Overall value for money!

Hotel staff was acting funny by stating that we have received your booking but not received payment from agent i. E. Makemytrip. Neither hotel staff was co-operating nor mm t staff was responding. I was in such a terrible situation in foreigh country where i could not ask help to anyone and was totally rely on mm t team only. I wish to put my complaint with mm t team members - manisha & leena jethwani that inspite of me contacting them directly they have not responded and not put any efforts to solve the issue.

It was wonderful and the staff was very friendly. Rooms were nice and big. I booked suite room and price was reasonable

Early morning 5:00 am there was a terrible water leakage in my room and when i called reception he said he will send some one at 7:30 i told him there is to much water can spoil your property then se sent some one and still nothing fixed and reception person asked me to come to lobby and wait till afternoon and after my request he gave me another room and he was not even single time said sorry and asked me to come to lobby to collect the key. This was the pathetic experience i have came across on my entire life travel experience and this kind of people specially whi treat there customers so badly should be terminated as no one can expect such attitude and horrible customer experience. This happens when i was with my wife. I don't know how they treat bachelor's the. I also have the video but don't have option to upload.

The room was comfortable and spacious. All the basics were provided and replaced daily (tea/coffee, bottled water, toiletries, towels) and there's lots of storage space as well. Everything was super clean too. I appreciated the inclusion of an adaptor for my chargers. The location is great, very easy to get public transport (airport bus & tram right opposite, MTR 5 minutes walk). It's also close to the ferry port should you want to take a ferry to the harbour or Macau. The pillows & mattress could use a refresh, and the only downside was that the hotel café only serves breakfast and other than that there's no food available in the hotel. However there are many restaurants and shops in the vicinity.

It was very simple to do booking on makemytrip and stay at best western plus was comfortable. Missed the option of complementry breakfast. Staff was courteous than what is normal in hong kong

The hotel is clean and very hygienic. The staff is very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting hong kong.

Great location, very close to the mtr, tram, ferry. It is also surrounded by good eateries and stores. Lovely staff but there are a few odd rules- water must be picked up from reception, they don't deliver it. Most calls go unanswered. But honestly, overall, still a good budget pick and would recommend 10/10.
