Very average hotel near train station

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during our visit to South France. The hotel is about 5 mins by walk from the train station. It is about 15-20 mins by walk to old town and beach The room itself is in very bad shape and in need of restoration. The carpets are very stained and I felt very uncomfortable walking on it with my care foot. The view from the room is the train tracks. Also the phone lines in my room did not work and when I complained to the front desk, the gentlemen just said OK we will look into it but nobody came during our stay to check it out The bathroom also need major restoration. The shower hardly worked and shower area itself is very small with shower curtain that does not protect the water from spilling to the rest of the bathroom. There is no counter space around the wash basin to keep you stuff The only good news was the price of the room. It was 80 euros for 2 nights which should be one of the cheapest for a location next to the train station. This is the only reason I give it 2 stars otherwise it would be 1 star.

Firstly location is right next to main street near the tram station and also 2mins walk to train/bus station.. Rooms are decent and clean. Kettles are provided in the room.. Staff is helpful.. We don't take breakfast there.. So no comments about that.. We could see the train tracks from our room balcony but it didn't make more noise.. We were comfortable.. Overall... Good, decent, value for money hotel..

Good stay, good and friendly front desk staff Wi fi worked very well. Hotel is very close to all impotant places of the city. Just 200 from nice Ville Railway Stn and tram stn is just outside the hotel.

The hotel was exactly as described. Perfectly located near the train station Gare de Nice Ville. It took us no more than 5 mins to reach the hotel. Right next to the Tram line (the only one in the city) and in the center of the shopping district. Very well connected to all the major monuments by Tram. The room itself was very clean, airy and just what we expected. It had all the basic amenities one needs while travelling. The only drawback was the balcony door. The locks to the door were broken and the door wouldn't lock. It would close but just not lock. The hotel reception was eager to send someone to take a look but we didn't bother since we were carrying all our important things with us anyway. It may become a problem for those who may want to leave some of their important things in the room. The front desk was VERY helpful. They were warm, courteous, professional and friendly. They were very kind in helping us with all the directions.

Everything was good about this place. Only worrying thing was that for a double room, they simply joined two single beds and hence it was difficult to sleep. Staffs were cooperative and location is close to tram and beach. Avoid double room if possible.

The Hotel le Noailles Nice Gare was exactly as described. Perfectly located near the train station Gare de Nice Ville. It took us no more than 5 mins to reach the Hotel le Noailles Nice Gare.
